URGENT!!! STOP & PAY ATTENTION CRISIS IN CLEVELAND Dear Citizens of Cleveland, Concerned Partners in Education (CPIE), a grass-roots group of educators, business owners, pastors, parents, and students, has closely followed the search process for a superintendent of the Cleveland Municipal School District. The process for the Cleveland school superintendent/ CEO search has been embarrassingly mishandled. The community can have no confidence in a process that is done behind closed doors and allows for an unscrupulous candidate to become one of the top five finalists. Of the candidates identified one is outstanding! She has applied, fulfilled the criteria, and was accepted for interviews by the search firm Hazard, Young, and Attea. She is an educator and, more importantly, a resident of the Cleveland area. She currently runs two successful schools in Cleveland, Forest Hill Parkway and Early College. Out of the four finalists in the running Dr. Linda Hardwick is the only one who was eliminated, although she is the only candidate who is currently involved with our public school students.
