Dear President Obama. My name is Nakisha Howard. I'm writing you this letter in reference to the to prisoners sentences in which you had commuted and granted. However, my mother, Nataska Howard is currently doing a 30 year sentence for possession of less than 5 grams of crack/cocaine. She's currently been imprisoned for 11 years now. This has really taken a toll on my life and my family's do to the fact that the time she's been given is such a massive period of time. It's very difficult to cope with the fact of not seeing her everyday and knowing that she is healthy. This has been a stressful and nerve-racking journey. Just a few months ago she was rushed to the hospital and fractured her bottom teeth finding out that her blood level was very low. She could've lost her life after just possession of 4grams of crack cocaine. Unfortunately, every appeal shes ever requested has been denied. With all things considered, I just beg of you to provide her with a clemency grant.

It's ppl out here that killed others & Came home off a M1. I think this lady deserve less time, hell to be free to be exact. It ain't like she harmed anybody. The way this world set up EVERYBODY GOTTA EAT & taking care home is EXACTLY what this mother was doing.
I been knowing Ms. Howard for years and feel she deserves another chance. She's not a bar person just made bad decisions. She has learn from that so please grant her this clemency. Thank you

OVER THE YEARS OF BEING APART OF THE HOWARD FAMILY IT NOT ONE DAY GO BY THAT THIS DOESNT EFFECT NOT ONLY HER KIDS BUT ENTIRE FAMILY IT WILL BE OVERWHELMING FOR US TO HAVE OUR AUNT HOME SHES DESERVES IT. LOVE ALWAYS NIKKI
Do not release her she is a danger to society they are drug dealers and muders don't believe anything the daughter says he is only wanting her mother home so she can continue there family business in the drug business people have lost there lives because of the Howard and everyone that sign this petition knows the Howard's are involved in these activities my child is at there home 5540 nw 3 Rd Ave I have to deal with the courts because they won't let my child come home keep your children away from these people especially Tasha aka nataska

I have been knowing ms.howard my whole life "22" yrs and she has been a god mother , daughter , Aunty , Cusin , and friend to everyone she comes in contact with . #SheShouldBeFree and she DOES NOT deserve this !
