Something needs to be done, I’ve been in Moses Lake for 55 years and this is the worst it has ever been, prior city administration didn’t help the people of Moses Lake.

The homeless in our community need more than just somewhere to sleep. The drugs and mental health issues do need addressed and I'm glad our Chamber is taking action on this.

I back the Chambers recommendation 100%! Our city is a disgrace. The more you cater to them the less likely they will help themselves. It is a continuous spiral down.

We don’t have a homeless problem. We have a professional campers problem with people who don’t want to do anything except lie, cheat, and steal from people & businesses around town.

Spot on with proposal. I would say, after working at the sleep center, that up to 27 guests a night is an extremely high estimate. Also, there is NO program in place to genuinely help persons to transition from finding temporary shelter to a healthier, and more productive lifestyle. Thanks for addressing these very serious issues. I pray something practical can be done.

Makes a lot of sense to redirect funds to actually effect improvement in the lives of those that have desure to improve, and help them change and improve the course of their lives.

Please pay attention to this petition! It is crucial, Moses Lake is a small town without the infrastructure or amenities to accommodate our local community & has become so unsafe and the homeless are coming in droves!

The sleep center has obviously dramatically increased the homeless population in Moses Lake. It is not helping our community and spending taxpayers money to help rehabilitate the homeless would be a better use of funds.
