I sign this petition with the hopes they become more transparent in their doings, and develop a safer space moving forward.
There needs to be a more centralized form of resource introduction. This region of WA has greatly failed it's residents for decades! Let's do better! Contact me if you'd like assistance moving forward.

I like it. Clean up Moses Lake for those of us who live, work, and recreat in the area and also look to provide ACTUAL help to those individuals who need it. That help can and needs to be so much more than only a bed during cold nights. I have personally witnessed people leaving the sleep center and screaming, yelling, rolling around on the ground, making every person at Cenex, Irrigators, and Lad Irrigation extremely uncomfortable. That is unnecessary and inappropriate. This would also allow for the swift and permanent removal of the narcan machine at the public library, a place many CHILDREN of Moses Lake frequent. To this point, it appears the city has done next to nothing to help this issue, whether it be cleaning up the numerous trash piles along Wheeler Rd below the hospital, or removing unruly aggressive people asking for people's money. I dislike going to a select few public places on town due to the issues homeless individuals create. City leadership needs to step up and make swift, decisive changes, and hold the homeless population accountable, much like the tax-paying citizens are held to high standards.
