To the Mayor of the City of Kingston, Members of the Common Council and the Kingston Planning Board;
We, the undersigned residents, taxpayers and concerned citizens, wish to express our disapproval of any proposed building moratorium in the city of Kingston, and support the removal of the derelict and polluted manufacturing building and the redevelopment of the site located at southeast corner of Washington Avenue and Schwenk Drive (formerly Utility Platers and Kingston Radiology). As a proud city threatened with a diminishing commercial tax base, ongoing loss of jobs and increase in properties being taken off the tax rolls, we further we assert;
1. Government should not be in the business of selecting what types or numbers of businesses are allowed in a
The site remains an eyesore while development stalls. I am drafting a formal letter to the Council to demand action on this derelict property.

That site is a total eyesore. Been sitting there forever rotting away. Get it cleaned up already so we can actually use the space for something productive.
