I live in the jingletown area on kennedy st and it is a constant battle to get the back area near the freeway cleaned up. i just spent 1k in labor cost. please help.

fruitvale needs public trash cans and more trees. The area around coliseum BART should have cameras installed to prevent the constant dumping around the parking lot.

I've volunteered for occasional clean up efforts, but these volunteer mobilizations are not enough. We need the full policy and resources of the city, along with hundreds of times bigger resources of our large corporate residents to clean up and keep clean our neighborhoods.

I also think when the City of Oakland workers see the garbage and pile up on the streets, they should just pick it up, no having to wait for a work order. They city workers use to do it this way, and it keep the streets cleaner.

Please clean up our Millsmont neighborhood. Also Hegenberger, both sides of the street. Seminary 580 freeway exit. Needs a light censor, breeds illegal dumping at night

I pick up trash everywhere I go. I go for walks and fill bags with trash - I pick up trash in parking lots on my way into the stores. I cannot do it alone. Please, do something about the trash. We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. One would never know!

Noel Gallo seems to be the only City Official that cares about the Oakland community. Calling ALL others. Let's clean up Oakland from the dumping, to the road conditions, to the abandoned buildings.

One problem is the amount of rental in the city and the tenant turnovers. I have witnessed on more than one occasion, people bring in a U-Haul, load it, and then deposit the “leftovers” on the sidewalk. I saw one group haul the stuff to the front of a nearby home and the resident of the home haul it back to in front of the apartment house from which it came. This was on High Street. These tenants do not get the benefit of a bulky waste pickup and don’t have vehicles to haul the stuff, so just leave it. I don’t think the hill sections of Oakland get better service, there is just fewer of these large apartment complexes and less low income people. The garbage is one thing (everyone has a garbage can), but the bulk of this is furniture and appliances. The city needs to get Bulky Waste Pickup to all.
