As volunteer to clean up east oakland. The blight that continues grow is getting way out of control and also dangerous. I adopted 82nd ave to Parker ave i do not ask others to participate due to the dangers that exist high speed driving, loitering, prostitution its time for our council members step up! I love East oakland ! Help us make it a cleaner and safer place for the future.

I have seen people not from the neighborhood purposefully dump their trash in East Oakland.

This is really getting bad...and so unnecessary as if these people would contact the city of Oakland all this mess probably would be picked up without trashing up our neighborhoods.

Please pay attention to East Oakland. I have lived in many places in Oakland, from Montclair to JLS, to Sequoah Hills to King Estates in East Oakland. Clearly the least amount of attention is given to East Oakland, the area where we need the most help.

That's why street cameras would be a great ideal to catch some of these offenders and then post there picture! Just a thought!

Additionally to this, Please send a NOTICE (PUT IT ON KTOP or deliver in hand to us and explain) to ALL home/ land owners that they MUST do their part in not contributing to the dumping. A lot of Oaklandners DON'T know about the free trash pickup date, where the landlords could set up pick-up (some of them don't know or DON'T want share the information) and/or can't get to the dump, even if it is free times to do that too. Which the city doesn't give notice in timely manner and/or give it to the people in need of it to rid correctly their piles of trash. I want to say that it is NOT just outsiders that do this. On my block right now I have five dumping spots ALL in front of the homes of the people that did it. This is an issue that EDUCATION is needed and pure laziness should be addressed. Being used to seeing illegal dumping is NOT healthy for our neighborhoods, community and city. Please help.

I live off the Seminary Ave exit, there are two pull off areas for this exit, adjacent to Mills Collegefor what I am not sure. At least once a week someone has dumped Amazing amounts of furniture and construction debris. If there were some cement barriers in place for the areas this would not allow these cowards to dump their un wanted items.

After 10+ years of not only enduring this filth, but having to clean it up myself when there was no response to my repeated requests for help, I've had it. My baby girl has had to grow up thinking this is the norm. I've finally taken her and myself to Oregon in search of a better lifestyle but still cannot sell my home in such an undesirable neighborhood. This drives everyone's home values down.
