I fully agree with this petition after spending a day on a barge to it was wonderful. But soon as back in nuneaton the water was disgusting

Our rivers are really bad, full of overgrown rotting vegetation and loads of rubbish.

I hate looking over the bridge at Asda , Riversly Park no better . Disappointed we are let down in Nuneaton

Anything to make our town look as though people cared about it has got to be good if the council cared and Glendale cared maybe it would encourage the residents into caring as well.

Why the council haven't cleaned the river in the park, I don't know. It would be great to see boats back on it. The natural paddling pool on the other side of the bridge, would be great to use again, why the council haven't made use if these I don't know. They like to put up hanging baskets but little else. Shame on them!

A bit of pride in Nuneaton town, begins by making the public places clean and tidy and appealing for residents, visitors and workers. So work in partnership with the Canals and River Trust and NBBC . Nuneaton is a forgotten town compared to places like Stratford !!

This is something that needs doing desperately the river runs at the bottom of my garden and it's awful you can hardly see the water.

All waterways are very important in many ways we must look after them,if volunteers are needed count me in and there are many more people out there that would help if we have the backing and resources.

Would love to see Riversley park and river back to its former glory. Many happy hours were spent in the park when our children were small. I also remember the boats going down the river, sadly it has been neglected for many years.
Lets make Nuneaton a nice place to visit.
