Kids should have AC while learning

A comfortable kid is one that shows promise in paying attention in class. Give them air!

Growing up I went to both of the these school and it’s crucial that students have moderate climates within the classroom.

Schools should have AC. How are the kids supposed to learn in stifling heat.

Please put air in the schools so our children can focus and have a positive learning experience.

I have 3 Grandkids in these schools. I don’t know how their brains can function when the do not have air conditioning. I want them to have every chance to Lear. Please vote to put in air conditioning in our schools!

Ac Is Everything

It’s no longer an occasional day of oppressive heat- this is a necessity.

I have two children at Lu Sutton. My daughter is heat sensitive, the thought of no AC in classrooms is absurd. This is a safety and health issue for all kids as well as occupational health & safety for teachers.. 90 degrees in classrooms while teaching and learning.. what more is needed to say? Equity!!

All schools should be treated equally. If some schools have AC, all schools should have AC. All the schools are located in Novato, which means all the schools are equally as hot. I have seen first hand how the excessive heat causes students to become lethargic and unmotivated to learn.

Cool the kids!

Our children and the teachers who spend all day teaching them DESERVE THIS ❣️

Its so hard to learn when all you can think anout is how hot it is!!!

If every school in NUSD isn't already budgeted for improvements to the HVAC system including Air Conditioning, then why on earth did the district just pass a $222 Million dollar Bond Measure that included 2, multimillion dollar Performing Art Centers at each High School? Is this another question of let them eat cake or did the district create a bond measure with projects that should have begun with the basics?

This is a big equity issue. ALL Novato schools should provide safe and comfortable learning environments for our kids.

Why aren't all 3 schools included in this petition?
