Class Action Lawsuit Against Manufacturers of Celexa, Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor, Lexapro, Paxil, Seroquel and Ativan

Started on lexapro when I was 15. It did absolutely nothing for me but my doctor kept telling me to keep giving it a try and ignore what I was saying. Then when I was 17 I was prescribed Zoloft. The results were even worse. I became super irritable causing me to lose many friends and alienate myself from everyone. I was always alone and missed out on a lot of things. I was also bullied from the way I was acting. And to top it all off, I went from 125 pounds to 165 pounds causing such shame of myself I wouldn't even leave the house for fear of people making fun of my weight.

My husband has been on Zoloft on and off since the 80s. He is currently being withdrawn from them with the help of his doctor and myself. My husband has attempted suicide three times recently - nearly dying once. Our family has been ripped apart by the frequent violent outbursts but I knew this wasn't my husband and was the medication. He has had psychotic breakdowns and negative side effects. We didn't know any of this from his initial prescribing doctor and only recently learned of the class action and the effects that Zoloft and like medications has had which all describe what my husband has been going through. He will be joining the class action.

I have taken Zoloft since the 80s on and off. I have attempted suicide three times recently and my family is destroyed due to violence on my part. I want to join the class action and get Pfizer to admit its wrongdoing.

I am 30 years old and started taking Lexapro at age 26. Included with the Lexapro was also a prescription for Xanax due to stress related issues I was encountering at work. I have gone through hell and back because of these medications and am still having to take them because nobody will help me with trying to get off of these prescriptions. I have seen more than 10 psychiatrists, 3 psychologists, advised by 2 different primary care doctors that they cannot help me, and even until today not one of these doctors has gave me hope or even helped me with overcoming the withdrawals of these prescriptions. My current psychiatrist now has me taking Cymbalta 60mg along with now Xanax and Klonopin. Due to these prescriptions, I have now been diagnosed with Generally Anxiety Disorder, Depression Disorder, Panic Disorder & Epilepsy with no constable EP by a professionally licensed Neurologist referred to me by my psychiatrist doctor. I am now unemployed and have not returned back to work for about 4 years as of today. Prior to taking these medications, I had no pre-existing medical conditions and was as healthy as could be. Anti-Depressants and Benzo's have ruined and destroyed my life and for this reason, I choose to sign this petition and have my name listed in the online signature list. I have been taking it for years and no body has told me anything until I recently have been going through withdrawals and for Dr told me nothing and I lost a week of work

I believe Lexapro and my subsequent unsupervised tapering and withdrawal caused me permanent brain damage and horrific side effects I am still dealing with, 8 years after my last dose. No GP would refer me for fMRi, instead I was ridiculed for requesting this. Please help.

I don't currently have the support system to cope with what this medication is doing to me. My husband just came from tdy and he's scheduled for another tdy this weekend, i have 2 kids to take care of and it's not easy with this medicine. Symptoms include increasing number of panic attacks (I've had one every day since Saturday), heart racing, horrible nightmares, shaking, trembling, hot flashes, extreme fatigue,i dizzy, couldn't see well, body weakness,, shortness of breath compounding my already breathing problem/asthma. I feel terrible today because I didn't have any sleep last night. I guess I'm frustrated that they gave me ativan after discussing with the physician about the side effects I was having with preneson, which was anxiety, ativan has made my health worse and I'm desperate to get the needed help to safely withdraw..

Was told today by my doctor on the 8th of October (after yrs of taken Lexapro, and Lorazenpam) a new study just came out and states that these drugs are now linked w/ and causes Alzheimeis Dementia. I'm only 40yrs old. And after a few questions he was sure that i did in fact have this. I'm going to a mental health state run clinic to help me w/ mental state. I have also taken the max dose of Effexor before for yrs too. I have never been the same since. Please help. this should not happen if they would do more testing. Thank You.

I believe there should be some sort of action against the company

Had to quit zoloft cold turkey after 2 years, got to a point where i just wanted to end it all literally over spilt milk, i have had to have 2 teeth removed as they broke from the constant jaw clenching. The list go's on and on.

I was put on this horrid drug back in 1987. But in 2000 when I collapsed at work for no apparent reason. I had an MRI SCAN and found that I had 4 torn discs in my spine. This finding amazed me and I only then realized my symptoms were from that and not from Panic Disorder that I was diagnosed with back in 1987. Bloody bastards shinks , they have ruined my life for 30 years because of this mis diagnosis of my health. Now I'm on a disability pension lost and lonley and still struggling after 18 months coming off benzodiazepine drugs.

My body almost shut down after I stopped taking xanax.

After taking lorazepam, I got out of bed, dressed and got in my car and hit a stone wall. Because of this, I received a DUI which has cost in excess of $10,000.

I have suffered immensely cus of lorazapam mirtazapine citalopram sertraline and chlorpromozine in the uk.

I have had nearly all those problems plus 2 strokes.......! I was on 4a day for nearly a year...please call...dont email me....971-338-0200

Went thru Hell and back All most Died from Celexa. Been off of it for a year and still having side effects from it!

I have experienced too many of these symptoms to even explain on here from taking Prozac.. I have tried to take my life several times and before being on it was never suicidal, and since I have come off of it have not had any suicidal tendencies.. This medicine is supposed to help us not harm us..

Yea celexa was prescribed to me,now I am permanently impotent. That's enough to wanna die.
