My mother killed herself because of Ativan

Memory losses, anxiety anger.And more

Have been on Ativan 1mg since 1986 have tried unsuccessfully to withdraw numerous times by tapering method. The symptoms are HELL!!!!! I Have been suffering daily withdrawal in- between the morning dose 1/2mg to evening dose 1/2mg. I am now 74 & dont even know what my life would have been like on a different path. I don't know ME!! I am not "ADDICTED" i have been made dependent all these years through lack of knowledge from the start! No information about any side effects! until years later when it was too late for me! Just think 33yrs of those bloody white pills! They have caused me mental & physical anguish & they are there forever till i die!!!

The withdrawal from these drugs is unbelievable. I am finally off Gabapentin and the withdrawal, even given that I was on a medical taper, is reoccurring and horrible. The idea of trying to taper off of the Tamazepam I have been on for 15 years is too frightening. Yet Pifzer still says Gabapentin is NOT addictive. Shame on them they are creating a whole generation of disabled and sick people.

I have lose of memory, muscle fatigue, uncontrollable actions that have financially got me to the breaking point, thoughts of suicide daily and extreme depression, I have lost my want to have sexial confrontation and erectile disfunction

I have suffered dearly from the effects from long-term use and withdrawn of lorazepam taken as prescribed. I have all the documentation. I had no idea what was happening to me or that these side effects even existed with the long-term use of 30 plus years three times a day.

Bad drugs, bad manufacturers out to make money, stupid doctors prescribing Ativan!!! They screwed or lives up completely!!!

Lorazepam has destroyed my mind and my life

I have been taking lorazepam for 28 years and had no idea that I was addicted. It was prescribed by my doctor and I was never told about the side effects. Withdrawing has been Terrible to say the least!!

My mother was put on this drug 5 years ago. And a new doctor has weaned her off. The problem was my was on 8 mg a day but she told her doctor she was on 4 or she couldn't remember so I don't think she was weaned off properly. My mother is 55 and sounds like a 2-5 year old she has massive memory loss, she cant even remember her husband that she has been married to for 38 years. She cant write, spell she is having seizures all the time and her hands and feet are drawing in. I want these drugs destroyed!!!!!
