Explains my nephew's problems

i have been prescribed effexor and it has been absolute hell trying to come off. my side effects and withdrawals have been debilitating. i would NEVER allow a loved one to take it or accept another prescription myself.

This medicine has caused so much trouble for my daughter and my niece. This medicine should NOT be prescribed. It’s horrible to watch someone you love suffer from something they trusted their doctors to give them.

My brother committed suicide while taking Ativan.

Its horrendous what these drugs do to people. Its like throwing poison into a river. I am coming benzo's such as ativan and diazepam..If the makers of these drugs wish to experience what happens when you come off these dirty drugs how about they try for themselves and let them suffer with pure torture that cannot be imagined..In all honesty though I would not wish these withdrawals upon my worst enemy. Thay are maybe ok in a hospital setting where they can be used for life saving settings or detox but not unleashed upon the general public..And dont talk about Effexor. Do you even know what you are making and how it works? I,m ment to working making music and now I am stuck in my room on benzo buddies and signing anti pharam petitions. You companies and people working for them should be ashamed of yourselves and you owe an apology which I am sure will not even be accepted. Dr Frankenstein and co you should all be disgusted and absolutely ashamed of yourselves!

i lost my hair from it and i was taking it seen 2016 and i looked it up to see what was causes it and they said it would make my hair fall out

I was prescribed Ativan for long term treatment of anxiety. It caused majors health problems, seizures nerve and brain damage and put me in the hospital 7 times (used as prescribed). This needs to stop. I know so many people who have been put through hell because rod the over prescribing and withdrawal. Not to mention the long term withdrawal process. Enough is enough

I've been taking lorazepam for over 8 years, and have suffered from almost all of these side effects.

I was on alprazolam for about 15 years and on lorazepam for about 9 years and was never told what the possible permanent side effects could be until a few months ago. Have been experiencing some of the side effects mentioned.

I have not been the same since I was prescribed lorazepam & withdrew from the drug 15 months ago.

I have been on Xanax for years but have recently stopped taking them due to siezures and extreme memory lose but now have headaches, depression,and extreme anxiety.

My wife has been on Ativan, Versed and Clonazepam for the last 9 weeks. She has been experiencing loss of memory and is not lucid. How can these people get away with pushing these drugs on the unsuspecting public?

Ativan, causes suicidal ideation and actions. Lost my son due to this.

Almost 5 years on "Ativan 0.5mg, as needed, up to four times per day." I was never warned about dependence, tolerance or withdrawal . I thought I was losing my mind and my life substantially fell apart over that. period. When I finally figured out it was the drug, there was no taper and I am now going through the hell of Benzo PAWS. I'm relieved to know that there will be an end to this misery , but I am absolutely furious that I was not warned. I would've been off of that stuff in a week.

I don’t know how anyone can sleep at night prescribing this stuff. I dare them to take it for their anxiety and fear about what’s going to happen when the world wakes up to what they’re doing.

These medications were supposed to help, but added more health issues causing a longer depression and more anxiety. Almost 2 years later and I am still recovering from the adverse effects. The pharmaceutical companies must be held responsible.

Prozac Zoloft...Ativan.... cost me my health and almost my life.... it did at the age of 27... change my future....not for the better... I lost an unborn child...and was unable to have children...... I lost my home and my marriage and so very much more...

I am suffering from many symptoms listed in Ativan Protracted Withdrawal Syndrome. I was on Ativan 1 mg. for 6 months. First I got tinnitus, then I began having horrible hyper sensitives to the environment while on the drug, where my lips would swell, tongue tingle and my hands would turn red and swell upon touching certain plastics or come into contact with household chemical/ VOCs. Now off the drug for 3 months the sensitivities continue to grow. I can tolerate only a few foods I have lost 30 lbs. I am 5'5" and weighed 135. Now weigh 105 lbs and am just skin and bones. I suffer from severe insomnia. On a good night getting one -two hrs of sleep. Many nights I get no sleep at all. All days and nights I suffer from a burning sensation under my skin, blurry vision, dry eyes, nose, mouth, strange sensations in my throat while trying to swallow, feeling the blood flowing through my veins and shooting tingling sensations throughout my body. It should never be scripted for anyone.The dangers of it were never explained to me by my doctor. This is a dangerous drug that should be given to no one. It has ruined my life and my that of my husband who now has to take care of me.
