We, the undersigned parents of graduating SK kindergarten students, are writing to express our concerns regarding the recent graduation package and its associated costs. While we are excited to celebrate this important milestone in our children's lives, we believe that the current graduation package lacks transparency and includes items that should be optional rather than mandatory. Additionally, we have noticed that the costs of the graduation package vary across different Maple Bear centers, with Mid View centre on the higher range.

Our Concerns:

1. High Cost of Graduation Package: The total cost of $390 for the graduation package is steep and places an undue financial burden on families. We believe that the items included in the package, such as a graduation ring, teddy bear, and accessories, should be optional purchases.
2. Lack of Transparency: There has been a lack of transparency regarding the breakdown of costs for each item in the graduation package. We request a detailed breakdown of the costs to understand how the total amount was determined.
3. Mandatory Purchase of Family Tickets: Each child is required to purchase a minimum of two family tickets, even if only one parent is attending. This policy is unfair and forces families to incur unnecessary expenses.
4. Sustainability Concerns: Making accessories mandatory contributes to unnecessary waste and is not aligned with sustainable practices. Many of these items may not be used beyond the graduation ceremony, leading to additional wastage.
5. Venue Costs: While we understand that holding a graduation concert outside the center incurs additional rental costs, we are aware that the venue is held at the Maple Bear HQ. We believe this should be taken into consideration when determining the overall cost of the graduation package.

Our Requests:

1. Optional Items: We request that items such as the graduation ring, teddy bear, and accessories be made optional. Parents should have the choice to purchase these items based on their preferences and financial situations.
