These kids deserve to walk a stage! Even if it’s in the summer time! They deserve thy ceremony!

What about Metra outside. People can space out. Seniors can sit spaced out.

I want to graduate, if it’s today, tomorrow, or end of this year! Don’t take that away from me.

I didn’t sit in school for 13 years to press the space bar to walk across a fake stage on a computer

I have graduated already and I get where the superintendent is coming from. The feeling of walking across the stage is an amazing feeling and I think they should get this opportunity even if they have to wait a couple months.

As a parent of a 2020 graduate, postpone if necessary, don't cancel .

This overwhelming feeling of dread that our graduation is NOT going to happen, or it's going to be some sort of "watered-down" version of a graduation, is killing me! I know we will all receive diplomas but it still sorta feels like all of this has been for nothing. I am the 1st student in my family to graduate from high school, if we were to postpone graduation to some later time, that would be in favor of keeping everyone safe AND my fellow students of 2020. I want to be able to walk across that stage like those before and those after me.

Please don’t cancel graduation! Postpone until summer or hold an outdoor ceremony for immediate family if you have to, but let our Seniors have their day to celebrate! They deserve it!

I agree. Should have graduation in real life still. Even if it takes longer for it to happen.

i graduated last year but i have a sister who is a senior. and seeing all this go on in her last year of highschool is just wrong. and for it to almost be said that they’re gonna do all graduation online is just messed up cause they deserve to be called up on stage when they graduate. it’s the best feeling ever. and that should not be taken away from them
