I don’t think many of us wanna walk past our laptops on ‘graduation day’. So even if we have to postpone it ‘til August we’ll still have the real-life experience AND closure of graduating high school.

The students graduating this year have been working tirelessly to get where they've been pushed to reach. Downgrading this celebration of their victories, experiences, and strength is numbing. They all deserve the thrill of walking across the graduation stage in front of those they'll share the future with. Please do you're best to give each of these individuals the chance to excite their power, not virtually, but with genuine freedom.

let us have our graduation! even if it’s a lot a different day. or a different place. it sucks that we had to work as hard as we could for 13 years and not be able to get our own graduation.

That would be such bs if they take our graduation away. There’s always an alternative to everything, we could do it out at daylis or even dehler. If they take this away from every senior this year, I will literally sue the school.

The class of 2020 has earned their right to walk the stage at graduation, celebrate with classmates and greet their teachers. Even if it is postponed for the health of all; please hold a traditional graduation ceremony for this AMAZING class!

This is a life changing event and it should definitely be reconsider or post pined before completely stripping this life changing event from us when we HAVE worked so hard for.

i want 2020 to have a graduation!! they didn’t spend 13 years of their life going to school just so they could click a button to graduate. they deserve a real graduation. if it has to get pushed back to summer, or over fall so be it.

We, as parents, look forward to watching our children have their names called and be able to walk to receive their diploma. Then to bake to walk down the row of teachers as they are congratulated. It is pivotal and such an amazing memory that they will be deprived of if the graduation ceremony is cancelled.

Please no to virtual graduation!! It would be worth the wait to allow these kids to experience the graduation we all got to experience. They have worked hard for it and deserve it!!

Please make this a thing. Summer or fall graduation would be fine. Please don't take away this huge milestone!!!

It should be considered to hold the graduation at a later date and outside if need be.

We need graduation, it is unfair if we don’t get to have it when every class before us and now every class after us gets to have it

As a 2020 graduate, I am strongly against canceling graduation. As students we haven’t worked this hard just to not be able to hear our names and walk across that stage. This is big accomplishment for us that we will cherish forever and I think the school board needs to look at other options such as moving the graduation date later in the year if necessary. Don’t make a permanent decision now when it is highly possible that the virus outbreak will and can change.
