This senior class should definitely not bear the repercussions of one misbehaving class. They deserve to have their senior prom at yhe end of senior week!

Prom 5/2 is too early. Nor can the kids be expected to focus on school 5/3, not eill girls be likely to attend 5/2

I stumbled on this by accident. I have no children in your district, but I have raised 3 sons, & this just made me sad for these young adults to have this to deal with at this time when they should be building memories. I hope this can be resolved in their favor, even if my vote doesn't count.

I would think the class of 2019 has heard all of the negative comments of this years prom. These students are certainly intelligent enough not to want to repeat the negative actions of the class of 2018. Stop micromanaging our students. This is a highlight in their lives following 12 years of hard work studying to lay their life’s foundation. The are entitled and deserve to control the design of their very special prom.

You guys are not irresponsible. And you are not pushovers. Nor should you be punished for a crime you did not commit. The current senior class clearly demonstrated how not to behave and you will not follow in their footsteps. History is often the best indicator of future behavior and the school had decades of senior classes that are model students as is our class. One bad parcel of apples should not set the precedent of years of good behavior nor victimize a junior class that has been outstanding.

I am incredibly proud of the class of 2019 in their respectful and articulate organization of this petition. These kids have worked so hard through the years to get to the finish line which is to participate in all the activities that culminate senior week including the Senior Prom. My hope is that we have all raised our children to be responsible and make good choices. I understand the concern of the school because of the past bad behaviors of some and I would hope that clear guidelines of events that occur during senior week are in place and that bad behavior by anyone would not be tolerated and have consequences including not walking at graduation. I understand scheduling the prom one month before graduation, on a school night just prior to AP exams is an attempt to eliminate any anticipated problems but it seems rather unfair to all our pretty awesome kids who have worked really hard to get to this point.

This class should not be penalized for another classes behavior. The students performance on their AP finals should not be intentionally jeopardized with scheduling the prom the week before.

So disappointed in the administration who always says that they put their students' best interests first, this proposal unjustly punishes the class of 2019 for absolutely no reason. Prom with AP exams the next day or even the same week is absurd and unfair! Forget about all the planning and the budget, which are further challenges which unfairly punish an innocent class for the administration's frustration with another class. There is a reason Prom is always at the very end of the year, just prior to graduation after classes are done. Keep it that way.

This is a terrible idea. Having already having 3 kids previously graduate, their is a significant amount of work needed to completely change the date with less then a year to plan. Finding a venue, and all the other aspect at this point is crazy. My understanding is the kids have AP exams the next day....it is irresponsible of the school to punish this class based on another classes isdues
