It is ridiculous to have the prom May 2. This is before the kids finish school. You can not expect them to come to class the next day. It is not fair to do that. Prom will be too expensive on a Thursday night anyway. Do not punish this class for the actions of another.

This is absolutely absurd and unfair. It’s our senior year, we’ve worked hard and been good students for 12 years. Just let us enjoy ourselves. Also have you ever seen students leading up to AP exams? They get no sleep, they’re stressed out of their mind and all they think about is that test. There is no reason why prom should be May 2nd.
