False Advertising. Hotel was not in the neighborhood specified, but it fell within their map that was very difficult to see on mobile. And the amenities did not match. I booked a hotel, but got a room at a hostel, that had a shared bathroom. Nowhere on their site did they list even the potential of a shared bathroom. They would not budge on their price and I had to file a stop on the transaction and was charged a fee by my bank. I would like my money back as hotwire.com would not work with me to rebook the reservation at a hotel, not hostel, with hotel amenities.

For one, the savings weren't nearly as good as advertised, but the biggest complaint of mine is the fact that they do not clearly show that the HotDeals are non-refundable. Admittedly, they do provide this information but it is buried in their terms and conditions in small print. At the very least this information should be prominently displayed on the webpage so that consumers are aware of the policy before they continue with a booking. By failing to do so Hotwire deliberately misleads consumers and puts them in a position (such as myself) to lose hundreds of dollars if they cannot use the booking for ANY reason. This is blatantly unfair and is a deliberate action on the part of Hotwire to defraud consumers due to the lack of proper advertising and warning.

I just booked a hotel with the Hotwire deal only to be hit with a $20 parking charge when we arrived. I screen shot the description before booking and no mention of a parking fee was made. After paying and arriving Hotwire said it is on the email confirmation. The bait and switch is ridiculous and they refuse to take ownership. I am so angry hat more fees on top of their fees were assessed. This is not transparent and should be stopped.

Thieves and refuse to be anything near honest, professional, honorable. I was double charged over charged and Hotwire.com says they will refund once they speak to hotel staff! Well nobody from hotel is returning call let alone answering phone for days now!

Price of hotel was advertised as Hotrate 55% off 3 star. I got a two star and the room is cheaper on the hotel website. Customer service sent generic email with their rules - which they broke.

Do not give this company a penny of your money! I planned a trip with my two children to the beach at seaside heights, I used your services to locate a budget friendly hotel. In looking for "budget friendly", no where in this statement did I once say I was willing to forgo cleanliness or safety. However, this is exactly what I received after booking through your company. The picture of the room did not match any room in the building, perhaps 15-20 years ago. The hotel was filthy, not just a little dirty, but disgusting to the point we kept our shoes on at all times and flip flops in the shower. There was one very nice young college girl who did her best to help accommodate our needs. The owner literally had her working 24 hours a day. There was a sketchy looking guy that looked like he was in charge of "cleaning" the rooms, and by cleaning I use this word very loosely. I observed him spending a minimal amount of time in the room he was cleaning, no use of a mop or vacuum. Just a dirty pickle bucket and a small broom. The tiles were cracked in our room, the grout was worn away and there was dirt and stickiness on the floor. I cleaned something that looked like blood or BBQ sauce of the wall. The floor outside was not safe, there was a hole that had been patched over and it compromised the integrity of the floors sturdiness. I took pictures of everything, I plan to post them on your website so people can see for themselves so they do not wind up in a situation like ours. I think the worst part of all is that I had to hunt down a way to contact Hotwire. I tried the phone, it wouldn't let me through to an actual representative to file a formal complaint. Thank you for reducing the enjoyment for what was supposed to be a warm and cozy family memory.
