Class Action Suit Against Hotwire

Refusing to refund a cancellation that I was advised would be refunded or credited due to Pandemic. I completed cancellation via phone and online and was advised that I would receive an email. I never received an email and continuously called back to be informed that Hotwire was behind in emails and no worries. Called to check the status or refund and was told would not be refunded.

Refusing to refund for hotel stating hotel hasn't informed them it waived the fee, when both I and the hotel have sent numerous emails and made numerous phone calls since 3/13/2020 both canceling the reservation and confirming fee-waiver.

Refuse refund on cancelled flight

78% off Hot deal that turns out to be zero % off the rate. Blatant false advertising and no willingness to accept any liability on their end for the bait and switch practices. Or simply acknowledge a mistake on their part fir including a hotel in the "blind" group of hotels in the pool you get booked at, that does not in any shape or form match the description given in the "hot deal"

Promised refund as hotel wound up being a halfway house with prostitutes and druggies, people knocking on our door and looking in our car...we left and were promised a refund...hotwire called the crook at front desk and he said we didnt leave. Had proof we rebooked elsewhere. They chose the word of a drug dealer over ours.

Same as another commenter...charged for parking and told upon check out. Hotwire tier 3 level and Customer Service Manager did not budge to refund and said to go to the hotel for a refund.very deceptive practices and Definitely NO FULL DISCLOSURE

we got booked into a hotel we could not stay at, hotwire eventually cancelled the booking saying the hotel cancelled it but the hotel said hotwire cancelled it, all told, Hotwire lied to us several times. Kept our money and we got nothing
