Class Action Lawsuit Against Ashford University

I am being garnished for classes I did not take. I am totally disabled.

I owe over 40k in student loans from working towards a psychology degree at Ashford that I would never get or be able to use even though I was on the deans list with a 4.0 every semester.

Completely ruined my high pressure bs and Ashford University

I was lied to about the fees, I am in over $60,000.00 debt and it was online. I felt pressured by advisors, questions were ignored and I have still been unable to find a job for the degree earned.

I am a former online student at Ashford University. I was lied to and tricked and not given the courses I needed to achieve my degree. I was charged and wrongly treated and now have a big debt because of this school when I was told Financial aid would cover all of my schooling costs. I feel I was tricked to take out subsidized and unsubsidized loans

I was dropped from the school after turning in the wrong paper for my final exam I tried explaining this to the professor that the student portal wasn't accepting my paper and was not given a chance to turn in the correct paper

I am right there with you. I received my degree in early childhood education and a masters in psychology. I cannot use either one of them. I have been made aware that I have to go back to school to receive the proper credits that will allow me to get licensed in the state of Colorado.

I hate this school and I am very frustrated with the fact that I have to return back to school again.

I went to this school and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education; however, my degree means nothing. I am in debt with student loans and unemployed. This school needs to be shut down. I was told I could be a teacher with their Bachelor's program; however, I was not sure if I was going to like the school so, I only enrolled for an Associate's Degree. I am so glad I did not commit to four years. Please someone help "us" get our money back or something.

I was a two year student with Ashford. They took $32,000.00 in loan money and none of my credits were transferable.

this school is a crook they lied about the tution and the cost and they wont let you take off if you need to for medical reasons or a death in the family and they chartge you for classes you didnt even take after you requested a tution rembrusement because your famly member died and your mental health wasnt good even after you sent in all the documentation they denie you for stupid reasons when it should of been appproved. this school is a crook

I have over $40,000 in student loan debt. I was assured by the enrollment rep that my degree would have a high placement rate. I tried for 3 years to find a job in Marketing. Their professors are former Ashford students themselves with no training. Absolutely terrible. Another thing that is highly fraudulent is I was promised that they would accept more of my credits than they did. I was told by the admissions rep to enroll and start my classes and then he told me they would give me the final transfer credit acceptance total after I had completed my third class. I should have never enrolled here. Because by the time I completed my third class and the admissions rep gave me confirmation of how many of of my credits were being accepted it was too late to cancel. I would have lost too much money. This college needs to be investigated. They are right up there with Corinthinian college and all of the other predatory “for profit” colleges. Circulate this petition on social media and get more awareness from past students. At some point a legal firm is bound to take this as a class action suit.

I was mislead in believing I didn't have to have any training for my degree. Just sit for licensure and then find a job.

I ended up owing almost 60,000 for a BA in psychology who no one wants, and all I can get is a part time job in retail. My mom has been struggling to pay my loan (she did not cosign) and still owe about 47,000 and she retires in a year. What can I do?

Ashford screwed me over royally after the loss of a child . And took me for thousands of dollars and lied to me when I enrolled into college

Ashford University has stolen my money. besides my student loans, I am now stuck paying over $2000 just to get my credits. My emails are not being answered to any of my financial questions. I attended from January 2017 to August 2017. I want my money back.

Ashford is a behemoth that needs to be taken down.
