I attended Ashford University between July 2007 to July 2010. I even when I had federal aid money left they would not give it to me or put it on my account so I had to pay them before I graduated.

As a honor roll student, and member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Chapter of Ashford, I have just recently come to realize as a graduating student, that Ashford withholds student loans in the last 4 courses and does not disclose this information to you. It is the only time they perform this action, and they say it is policy. When you ask what policy because you are entitled to disclosure, they search and search, shuffle you around for weeks from person to person only to end up saying in the end...."Oh, it is an INTERNAL policy", Huh? We are entitled to FULL disclosure of our funds and how they will be disbursed. That is what our award letters are for. But, they do not give full disclosure. I know many of you have experienced many different issues with Ashford, and it is important for us to band together and simply state what they did to you here, and sign this petition so we can fight back!
