They lied about the amount of money I paid them and they mismanaged my loan money. They also claimed I would be able to do an add on to my degree, so I could get a teaching license.

I was misled about the size of the loan. The accreditation of the school. What my payments would like and the usability of the degree. I was tricked into doing this school

Random call comes in and was really pushy about signing up for college. I keep saying no but wouldn’t stop pushing. The advisor keep pushing and telling me how great a job I could get and going over figures if I would just start the degree. Next thing I knew I was enrolled with Ashford University between 2016-2020. Over $70,000 debt with student loans and no luck with even using my degree. Healthcare Administration management and minor in Cultural Anthropology. Graduated 3/16/2020

My tuition kept going up. I don't think my GPA is accurate. I still have not found a job with the degree I have. I am also not sure if it's even legitimate.

Ashford promised a high wage job that they would help me find. This never happened. They also told me the cost of my tuition would be 1/2 or less than what it ended up being. I hope this class action goes through as they should be held responsible for all the unfulfilled promises and the lack of transparency they provided their students.

I have an email showing that the recruiter breaking down that I could possibly be paid. $125 a year to go to school at most oh $7,000 a year. I started paying on my loans in 2012 and I still owe $52,000

I am just now finding this out. My Academic Advisor, told me I could use my BA degree in Behavioral Science out-of-state, being ignorant, to the law is no defense, but I disagree, because we trust those who are more knowledgeable than WE are, to guide us in making life changing situations and that is why they are called "Advisors"...
