Class Action Lawsuit Against Ashford University

When I finally started looking at the actually numbers on my loans I realized I was being charged over $9,000 for room and board - I was an online student in North Carolina!! They completely took advantage of me and messed up my credit. My loans totaled over $100,000 for an Associates degree in Business.

I too was misled by Ashford University, lied to about loan amounts as well.

I was a former student was lied to an earned 3 invalid degrees and no career advancement

I went to Ashford from 2010-2012 and was completely misled about financial aid and degree worth. How do we get help?

2008-2012 attended as a single mom. Assoc in Business and BA in Early childhood with a minor in Sociology. Was suppose to be able to teach or go into the social work field as well as credits transferable. What a joke! Almost $80,000 in debt now due to interest... Time with my kids suffered, and income suffered afterwards and now my credit score with debt to income ratio. I feel like I failed my children as a mom and have nothing to show for all the time I sacrificed to go to school when they were young, I will never be able to have the job they promised I would and die on this mountain of debt. All done to provide my children a better life that never came.

My diploma was withheld!

I went to this school for all of my degrees. Undergrad and grad and I have nothing to show for it!!! Justice needs to be served

I have $99,000 in student loans from Ashford University. I graduated in 2012 with a masters degree in teaching technology and my bachelor’s degree in early childhood administration. I hate thinking about how hard I worked for my degrees and now find the school was a scam.

Got degree in 2017 that has done me no good. Gi bill used up on worthless degree

I suffered greatly due to the misrepresentation of Ashford University. My credit was destroyed when I could not obtain the degree I worked so hard for due to thier lies about accreditation. I could never pay back the $60,000 in loans, this affected my ability to find a home, buy a car, or get a credit card, even to secure employment. In 2017 my income tax refund was intercepted and my electric was disconnected. I was depending on the refund to pay a back bill following my divorce. My daughters and I ended up homeless living with friends for a year until I got back on my feet.

I "graduated" in 2016 and the bachelor degree I obtained is useless. I was told I would be able to get a good paying job with it but my background still holds me back and now the degree is useless since they weren't even a real school.

I attended and was so mislead. I went there from 2014-2019 and have nothing to show for it.

I received my associates and my Bachelors degree from here. I am so disappointed

I recieved my degree in early childhood education and was told I would have accreditation to teach and I have not been able to use my degree.

I would like to have tuition reimbursement I study there for a while and special education mild to moderate behavior disorder and with the reading endorsement and the classes are transferable thank you very much
