Time to step out of line Ladies

After leaving an abuser with my 4 kids and learning quickly that our current systems are blind to behaviour patterns of classic abusers, I’ve begun to work and advocate for judicial reform, education of all social workers, psychologists, etc of cluster b disorders ( currently no required education to receive a degree in psychology) and more. This law needs to be nation wide The stats on DV continue to rise despite the reactive efforts of our disjointed systems. Public education ( not Bell Talk of mental illness but rather on anti social and narcissism disorders) must be publicized. Psychopathy is public health’s number one issue. Let’s band together for change

It just makes sense. Empower women to keep themselves safe.

No one should has the right to personal privacy if they abuse someone's right to life.

The sooner this gets passed the better!

I too have suffered from 14 years of abuse. He had abused new wife and hoping for justice this Dec in court with 17 charges pending. Praying for this to be passed in all provinces!

There is no place in society for domestic abuse!

Disgusting that this would happen to anyone!

Of course it should be a law ....what other means is there to protect us?

I was a victim of spousal abuse and violence. This is an important petition and the right to check the criminal history on a man when entering into a relationship should be available. Women shouldn’t have to suffer the consequences of such actions of an abuser.

This must be done - please!!

What’s the hold up??? They should get it done ASAP for the safety of ALL women!

Women need to be protected.The aggressor needs more than jail time...They need kn going therapy and assessment.
