I used to spends many nights a week at GSZ. I vote to reopen a place to keep kids busy and doing things they love.

I'm from New York and this skate park played a huge role in me as a skateboarder and also as a person! Such a shame that it is going through this. Met wonderful people here for the 5+ years of going every time I was down from New York

This skate park has always been very open to hosting great camps, church groups or bible studies even in the past.

These kids need a place were they can go and enjoy a sport and company of other kids who share the same thing. It will help keep them off the streets and in a safe environment.

The city should have provided a safe place for these kids to go like years ago when they had all the inside games, basketball, dances on weekends, etc.

Love this park ever since I was a little girl. Would go with my brother and his friends just for the heck of it. It kept a lot of kids out of trouble and gave them something to do when there was nothing to do. It would be a shame if they closed this down for good.
