Dont blow it brevard. If u dont give kids a safe place to get together, they will end up hanging out at crack houses and shooting herion. Give the community their skate center, and keep it that way.

I lost Teresa in 2011 otherwise we would be out there rebuilding it, you know that. It was a special time, but everything has it's time. Hope all is well with you & your family. Oh yea, bring back GSZ, Palm Bay.

GSZ should be seen by City leaders as a valuable community asset. As adults, we decry the lack of activity among children but are willing to deny thousands of hours of access to kids who, through skateboarding, gain invaluable skills of fitness, problem solving, community participation and resilience . Those outcomes seem like the kinds of qualities a City would want to encourage from its young people.
I support the reopening of GSZ.

Grew up going to the skate park from the first day it was open, to when the city took it over, to when Dan operated it. Gsz is a fun and safe place to go to. It kept me out of trouble, and it has for so many other youth in our city. Would be a shame if it can no longer operate and have the positive impact on the youth in our city like it did for me for nearly 20 years of the skate park being there.
