Greedy landowners don’t care about what this stuff does as long as they keep paying them to dump this toxic stuff on their land!

This practice will only stop when those who purchase these waste products STOP allowing them to be dumped on their land!

It's unconscionable to dump toxic sewage sludge along the Siletz River and its watershed! Our drinking water comes from the Siletz River and eventually that sludge you are spewing all over will make it to the river.

The river is having a hard enough time without adding the burden of the sludge from 3 cities running into it.

We need to find another solution to get rid of this and other contaminants without poisoning our rivers, lakes and ocean.

We didn't want Depoe Bay's sludge so we certainly don't want Newports'. It is sickening and so sad to see our beautiful Siletz River in the terrible condition it is now in because of the run off this from from fields that this has been applied too. Shame on those that received money to allow this spreading of biosolids on their land. Shame on those that allowed it.

I was considering a trip to Newport for a family vacation this summer. Now I am not. I do not want to have my children come into contact with any of the outflow that comes from this biosolid dumping/spraying. Absolutely not worth the risk. If you value your tourist income, you'll stop this immediately and come out and say it. Take a stand. Protect our environment, the people who live there, and lastly, visitors.
