Please do not tear it down. Garland has the worst roads, shopping centers and eateries than any town in Texas. Keep something of interest to the people or people will stop coming. I already go out of my way to not drive through Garland as it is not safe. I say keep the Armory.

Dog Park YES, Skate Park No, or put it closer to the Police Station for obvious reasons. City Council action w/out public input and consent? ABSURD and insulting!

I am signing this and asking that we vote Anita Goebel out! Keep Doug Athas as our mayor and restore some peace to Garland again. I lived near 10th St in that District for many years and many times we played in Central Park near that Armory. How sad it is gone.

How dare the Garland City Council waste our tax dollars and ignore its constituents!

No way this should proceed, you close baseball fields that a large number of people use and have used for years and build a skate park for a small number of users, you tear down buildings to build a dog park? there are lots of open areas that could be used for dog parks in many areas of garland. STOP this garbage and listen to the citizens, there is something very wrong with this being ramrodded thru, sounds like someone is making some shady deals! QUIT WASTING TAX PAYERS MONEY

You need to do more research on the outcome possibilities of putting a skate park there . Nobody wants crime bright to the neighborhood.

Jail everyone who has broken the law. We are fed up with greedy people lining their pockets at our expense.

Why was tax dollars for asbestos removal spent on the old National Guard buildings?

Case histories of dog parks has been more negative than good, disease, pesticides and careless owners. The Armory could be used for something better.

Always do your research first ... why rush a dog/skate park (something that would make our city better) just so you can say you had a part in it? Stop rushing and start listening.

The last thing we need is a skate park and dog park at Central Park.

This is NOT a dictatorship, and the citizens of Garland are not going to sit idle an allow this to happen.

Resident of District 6. If such a vote is in opposition to regular order and the due process of the City ordinance, I am opposed.

I would like the Armory buildings to stay and be used as public space buildings. City could rent them out for revenue.

Not a wise move city council! It is time to put the brakes on these new plans, and check with the citizens and tax payers of this city!
