Citizens within the City of Centeron: Against the Rezone of Multi-Family Housing on W Fish Hatchery & N Vaughn

We don’t need or want apartments at this location. Build something that will raise our property values rather than lower them.

Please reconsider the rezoning and thus the building of these “big box” type apartments in my backyard. My husband and I moved to this quiet community less then 6th months ago with the intent of investing our lives and building a family here. Please don’t take away one of the main pillars that allowed us to fall in love with Centerton. We don’t want the hustle and bustle of thousands of random strangers, coming and going through our neighborhood. We don’t want the lack of privacy derived from having a multi-floor complex looking down into our back yards. We don’t want the eye sore of huge developments surrounding our lovely secluded streets. We don’t want higher crime probability. We don’t want lower valuation on our home. We don’t want traffic. We didn’t sign up for this when be bought our house, and we will stand up along with our neighbors—who didn’t sign up for this when they bought their homes either. Please, for the love of our neighborhood—RECONSIDER.

No more apartment buildings. Too tall, to much noise and traffic.

There is no need for an entrance on Bradley St. It will ruin our neighborhood and endanger our children with traffic and possibly crime.

Don't want out neighborhood turning into a highway. Bought our house based on current zoning.

The commute on 102 is the worst.. We aren't prepared for the influx of people and all that would entail, not to mention current residents spent their hard earned $ on property here.. The commission should respect those purchases.. Besides, exactly how will it benefit the city? All I see is local taxpayers footing the bill for a small few to profit.. Doesn't seem very fair to the good residents of Centerton.. Bad idea all around guys..

We do not need this area over developed. We like it because it's far enough away from Bentonville to get our peace and quiet.

This will directly affect us and most importantly the many small children in our neighborhood. We moved to this neighborhood for its quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Apartments this close to a residential area will ruin this areas integrity.

I live on Bonanza and this will basically be in my back yard. We bought this house because there was nothing behind us and we had privacy. We don't need another big complex here.

I decided to buy my house on Bonanza because of the neighborhood. Had I known there were plans to build an apartment complex right behind my backyard, I would have chosen differently. We don't need an apartment complex in this area.

Please say no. We don’t have the infrastructure to support this, along with other builds going up. Specifically, from Main St to 279...we have log jams because we have 2 lane highway. Why, with all the growth in the area, was the expansion of 102 stopped at Main St?? This will only further hurt traffic during peak drive times. Also, will create “pass through” traffic in the small neighborhoods surrounding it. As a resident on Bonanza, and a parent of a small child, I’m highly concerned about speeders flying down our road as a shortcut. We already have trouble with this....and an apartment complex will increase it 1,000 fold. I’m also concerned about both the wildlife in the area and existing drainage issues along Fish Hatchery. Apartments aren’t bad...just put it in an area that has the infrastructure to support it.

This 80 acre tract is directly over the recharge area for the springs that feed the 18 ponds at the Charlie Craig State Fish Hatchery immediately to the south. The proposed development would require the State Hatchery to move from it's historic location in Centerton. This development will destroy the Hatchery and the housing values of all of the homes to the north. This is a textbook example of why zoning is used... to protect the interests of the local citizens against the harmful actions of a few with only self-interests.

It will break my heart if this actually happens.

No thru streets would be appreciated

I am against this. Please do not allow the building of these apartments
