Citizens within the City of Centeron: Against the Rezone of Multi-Family Housing on W Fish Hatchery & N Vaughn

They should not rezoning land that was zoned as single family zones to allow more apartments.

Multi family housing can become an unnecessary blight to our community. The roads have yet to be improved to handle the rise in traffic that will occur if many more of these type of developments continue. I'm already worried about the complex being built in my back yard on 102 and Vaughn road as it is. NO MORE!

I am concerned about security for the Fish Hatchery. The run off during a storm already floods over into the hatchery because the ditch can not handle it, and I am positive that this would become a bigger problem with this development. Mayor Bill stood up in the meeting the other night and said the city does not have funds to improve West Fish Hatchery Road to accommodate the traffic that this would bring. He also said that he doesn't see the funds being available anytime soon. Why would the planning committee allow another apartment complex to be built when they have no funds to fix the city's infrastructure needs before hand.

Concerned about security, potential for worsened flooding at the hatchery. Also concerned about the inability for West Fish Hatchery to handle the amount of traffic that an 850 count apartment complex would add to this road, especially since the mayor commented the city didn't have the money to upgrade it.

I think there are too many apartments being built in this city.

Rain runoff may flood the neighborhood downhill from this land...

There are already far too many apartments in Centerton. I would be interested in what the ratio is of apartments in Centerton vs. population. People have said Centerton is the slum of Bentonville and it bothers me that housing such as this lends to rhat image. Why not encourage residential homes which will bring home owners, families and tax payers rather than apartments that support a population that isn't looking to necessarily settle in Centerton longterm. Is there really such a demand for apartments for Centerton?

We do not need another gigantic multi family unit in Centerton to decrease single family house value. Please reconsider.

No more reaffirm and potential higher crime. I do not want this.

For all of the obvious reasons of being a homeowner plus at the age of 79 more traffic and etc. to deal with

What bothers me the most as a taxpayer in this area the leaders chose not to start a conversation with the home owners.

Live in the Tamarron subdivision. We chose this location because of the great neighborhood and low crime. We'd hate to have to move.

No more apartment complexes!

This is not ok. We have lived here for 18 years and the crime rate is low. I do not want it to go up or have my views blocked. We have enough traffic going through the streets and kids are playing outside all the time. Not safe for our families or our community.

I am opposed to this re-zone as it will affect not on my home value negatively but the safety, security, and true neighborhood feel of my neighborhood pushing me to leave Centerton.

We live at 193 Callie Lane which is connected to the proposed zone change. We moved there because it was a small quiet neighborhood away from everyone. Not only do I want the privacy that we have already invested in, I am afraid of the home value decrease this would cause. I cannot express how angry I am that this rezone is being proposed when there are already so many apartments being built very close to this proposed location

For homeowners who already live in the areas adjoining the property proposed for rezoning, this potentially could result in lower property values. Before I bought my home I was told by the city that the property in question would be single family dwellings of similar quality and value. I therefore oppose the rezoning.

Cannot blame people for wanted to keep their privacy. Let's use are heads and do thing the right way
