This petition is being written to protect students of McDuffie County School System from the verbal and social bullying of teacher, Mr. Rob RIdings. As citizens of McDuffie County we sign this petition in support of the student who was held against his will and verbally bullied by Mr. Rob Ridings, a teacher employed with the McDuffie County School System. Statistics show that the most common place for bullying takes place at school and is linked to many negative outcomes including impacts on mental health, substance use, and suicide. We will not keep quiet and are responding to this incident by signing this petition to demand justice on behalf of the student.

I have finalized the formal report regarding the incident and submitted it to the district superintendent for review. Legal counsel is now evaluating our next steps to ensure the safety protocols at the school are fully investigated.

We must be the voices for children/grandchildren. It takes a village to raise our children, not abuse them.
Nobody should be bullied!! But EVERYBODY should be treated EQUAL!! No matter what RACE you are!!

We want justice for all the children of Mc Duffie County who has been a victim of Head Coach Rob Ridings.
I think there has been too many incidents regarding this coach his players and students. I think it would be a good idea for him to step down as Teacher and Head Coach of the Thomson High School Bulldogs
We as adults have to look out for our future generations if we don't who will

I've dealt with the verbal abuse of coach Ridings for years!!!! The favoritism and the way he treat kids unfairly is pitiful!! He doesn't deserve the position he is in !!!
