Citizens Oppose Public Safety Training Facility

Dont oppose the idea but do oppose the location. Should not be near residential.

Sounds like the landfill would be a better place for this ...away from residences !

My daughter has not been in her home for a month yet, her first home. It is beside this proposed site. I have a 5-year old granddaughter that should not be around this type of facility. Don't you think that the Walter Hill area has suffered enough with the landfill that we must smell regularly? This facility needs to be somewhere else.

This kind of facility should not be in close proximity to our, or any, neighborhood. Find another piece of property away from residential areas.

Need to put it over by the race track since that is lower populated land.

I am adamantly opposed to this development. I live in the Liberty Valley Subdivision with several hundred other Murfreesboro residents who do not want this project in our neighborhood.

I fully agree with this petition. Having such facility near residential area, is safety hazard for all of us. We all bought our house in the area because, it is tranquil for the family. Now city has shown total disregard for view and concerns. We hope and urge the city to look for other location where there no family home and subdivision. Rutherford county has ample open land to build this faciltiy.

This facility would be only a few hundred yards from our community pool. I'm all for training facilities to support police and fire, just not in residential areas.

My sons and grands live in this area and I do not want to see their neighborhood ruined by this development.

I am totally opposed to the training facility being built close to our neighborhood. We purchased our home this past December with the first go round of this issue having been denied. We did not want the issue of last August to be repeated we thought it was over and now here it comes again. we are totally opposed to this training facility. We wanted a quiet peaceful neighborhood to retire in. Not guns blaring, buildings blowing up, and fires to be put out. Please do not let this happen!!!

How can anyone think this is a good idea? NOT in favor as our property values will decrease tremendously.

I live DIRECTLY across the street from this proposed MONSTROSITY. I have two children who like to play in the front yard. We moved here because we are in a very rural area and it is quiet. I purposely bought on the outside of the neighborhood for the beautiful farm property we had across the street. When I bought the house - there was a plan to develop a greenway across the street - an entire schematic was prepared and was on the city website. I DO NOT WANT to listen to a firing range and see burn towers and divers practicing in the pond a few hundred feet across the street from my house. We cannot handle this much traffic on our road!!! WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would want this across the street from their house??? NOT Mr. Crumbley...I'm sure!!!

I'm positive those involved in the planning of this complex would NOT want this in THEIR neighborhood either.

Mr Cromley is absolutely crazy if he thinks this is a proper location for a training site. What city builds a training site in a neighborhood?

You are creating a war zone training facility in residential area. Go to Ft. Campbell for training.
