I strongly oppose this development. Traffic on Battery Park will be even more hazardous ⚠️ bumper to bumper.‼️ Where’s the money for K thru 12 School expansion & improvements? Smithfield has already become severely congested since I moved here on 07’. More crime, lack of police available to ensure the Safety of its citizens.
Lets “Clean House” in November & have some fresh innovative new faces on the Town Council & in the Mayor’s Race!!

We are not county residents but we visit Smithfield/Isle of Wight often for a smaller, rural escape from our city. Larger scale housing developments like this would detract from the overall experience and cause us to quit patronizing the area.
