This petition is totally about the builder making even more money, Not about our schools, roads & other vital services. Is the builder proposing to build a school to serve the new population of this new subdivision? Or proposing to pay to widen our roads and for a traffic light? Battery Park/Nike Park are already too busy for current traffic. Think
of the people & their families - don’t approve this !

I live off Nike Park in Carrollton. If the growth continues, I will be leaving the county once my children finish out high school. I don’t want to live in a place with tons of noise, traffic, and crime.

I left the Virginia Beach/Norfolk metro because of all the overgrowth and crowdedness. Don’t get greedy and ruin what makes IOW & Smithfield so special. The southside, which is where I grew up, has become trash and the traffic is awful.
