I have lived in the Town of Smithfield for 35 years. DO NOT approve this rezoning request! It will destroy the ecosystem of Moone Creek, and irrevocably alter this wonderful small town with traffic, noise, and overwhelming demand on our infrastructure and municipal services.

There is no further need for this many homes in Smithfield. The roads, the schools and emergency services cannot support these home.

Worried about humans and animals alike.
Most of us moved to a small town to get out of the rat race. Now it’s turning into Newport News. Move over the bridge if that’s what you want stay over there.
