The chiropractic profession is the only profession recognized around the world that can detect, analyze and correct vertebral subluxations for the optimization of the nervous system in the human body, through the spine and as such it is a specialized profession, where it is becoming more and more. The use of radiographs is necessary to be able to analyze in a more precise way the real state of the neurospinal system. In addition, we must consider the large percentage of malformation rates and bone growth abnormalities throughout the vertebral system. We use X-rays to be able to see where we work and not to assume how much we work with people's health and lives.

Chiropractors should have more access to diagnostic procedures in order to be safe, specific, and effective with their care. Taking away their ability lowers the quality of care and inevitably relegates them to physical therapy and massage

Like any doctor, chiropractors should have the right to prescribe an X-ray if they and their patient agree it is needed. That a doctor would pay many thousands of dollars to have a safe, convenient X-ray machine available, I find amazing and commendable!

No way would I ever let a chiropractor adjust my spine without xrays being taken first and knowing for sure where to adjust my spine and that it is safe.

The determination of who and when to xray a patient should be up to the individual practitioner. There are a myriad of reasons why a Chiropractor would want to X-ray someone that this rule would prohibit. Please reconsider.

Taking away the right for a Chirpopractor to utilize x-ray to determine subluxations would be the same as taking away a dentists ability to use x-rays of teeth. Unacceptable!!!!

As a 40 yr practitioner, who's had co-admitting privileges in a local hospital, and taught radiographic technique at a local community college's Chiropractic Technician's Program, I can attest to the efficacy of chiropractors utilizing x-rays. Do not tie their hands by limiting their ability to utilize x-ray, as they have been taught. Thank you for your service. Donald Olson, DC, FASBE, DACS
