Chiropractors have used X-ray to improve the accuracy and safety of their Adjustments for over 100 years, many of the techniques taught and used by Chiropractors are contingent upon and rely upon X-ray for their correct practice. It's a restriction of trade and practice to do this and could have tragic consequences with pathologies not being detected and the overall safety of our profession, which has an excellent safety record up to this point. Aortic Aneurysm Cervical artery calcification Abnormal anatomy Cancers contraindications adjustments Tumors contraindications adjustments Previously undetected tumours and cancers These are just some of the pathologies that will not be detected now X-rays are being restricted for Chiropractic in British Columbia.

I've received excellent care from my chiropractor as result of his thorough assessment of my condition which have included X-rays. I believe Chiropractors should be able to use X-rays as they deem appropriate so they can provide quality care to their patients.

Ridiculous to force medical practitioners to stop using one of their important tools with questionable motivation.

Chiropractors have been taking x-rays for over 100 years. The technology minimizes radiation exposure and should be legally mandated for utilization by all chiropractors if clinically indicated.

This is simply a part of the plot to contain and eliminate chiropractic . X-ray is essential for ruling out pathology(e.g. tumor) which is contraindicated for chiropractic care.

It is just another example of containment. Bring back the Wilk Trial!

What a lot of B.S. Will CCBC cover you for a malpractice case if something goes wrong during a treatment.

X-rays are important in patient care., and radiation exposure is minimal. Please allow Chiropractors to continue to X-ray their patients - their findings might help a loved one!

We must not allow this restraint of trade.

There’s absolutely no reason whatsoever that a doctor of chiropractic should not be allowed to take x-rays whenever he or she sees fit. Not only is this ridiculous but this is a public health hazard. I can’t tell you the countless amount of times that I found cancer and other diseases that I would’ve never seen if I didn’t take x-rays. What would give anyone the right to take this away from a doctor. Whoever decided to do they should be ashamed and embarrassed
