clinical decisions rest with a primary care doctor, not a 3rd party restricting the accessibly of proper diagnosis to the doctor/patient relationship. Nobody in recent history has died from over exposure to x rays. It is wifi that is now more danger than this ever was...

Is extremely important to have X-ray to rule out any pathology and or abnormal softening conditions. We need to see X-rays in order for our patients to have the best results and outcomes.

Xrays are essential for diagnosis and treatment determination. Without them, a doctor is making guesses in the dark. When my doctor is correcting misalignments in my spine, I need the assurance that he KNOWS what needs to be corrected because he has clearly SEEN what is wrong.
Please reverse the decision to ban the use of diagnostic imaging.

Chiropractors must be allowed to use X-Ray. They have a great formation about it in order to practice and be able to read and take X-Ray. Its in there law and rule of practice. We can't just stop to do it like that!

This is asinine. Do you have any idea how many people are severely injured, disabled, or die every year because a chiropractor DID NOT properly evaluate the patient’s spine (by looking at it using X-ray examination) prior to applying a chiropractic manipulation?!? What are you going to tell a patient (or the family of a patient) who was injured due to a chiropractor missing something drastic because they weren’t allowed to see it on X-ray? Examples- fracture, pathology, instability, and congenital malformation can all make manipulation unsafe and not effacious. I have found all of these in my career, many times over, I was able to properly refer or manage each case based on what I saw on X-ray. Each one would have suffered, been injured, or even lost years of their life (cancer) had I not SEEN those things and handled them properly, Show me the research that proves the risk of using X-ray outweighs this. Those behind this should be utterly ashamed, and stripped of their chiropractic (or other professional) license for gross negligence and willful harm to masses of innocent people.
The problem here is not that X-ray doesn’t change outcomes. IT DOES. Many advanced post graduate trained technique practitioners rely on X-ray to be able to make life changing corrections for patients. Additionally, many diligent chiropractors of all types have found things on X-ray like I have. THAT changes outcomes - by doing no harm. ALL chiropractors should be able to do their best for the patient. More education to BETTER use imaging for patient care is the answer. I’d say let’s start that education with those who proposed this nonsense.

It is stunning that we are witnessing this today. Anyone that claims there is no evidence that X-rays benefit care of spinal misalignments is deliberately obtuse.

This is ludicrous. The fact that we have to sign a petition for something so obvious is ridiculous.

Pg. 39 and 40 of the CCP Guidelines from 1998 have a robust breakdown of why Xray is critical for SAFETY of OUTCOMES related to Chiropractic Care.

After 17 years of pain and many different treatments from physiotherapists, massage therapists, etc, NUCCA is the first thing that has really helped me. This modality is needed and the xray's are needed to help with adjustments. Please do not take this away.

X-rays are important, because it helped determine what my back and neck issues stemmed from, and therefore has helped with treatment and relief from the pain!

Hmm. Someone should explain to us individuals, the reasons xrays are "routinely" used to assess dental issues and care but not for chiropractic treatment and care? What sense does that make to allow one to practise with a full knowledge (xray advantage) of how to treat and care for a specific problem and then tie the hands behind the other's back (chiropractor) and expect them to properly treat and help their patients?
Seriously consider the odds against our chiropractors...Wow.

Chiropractors should be allowed to continue doing X-rays. They are more caring as to spinal health and are able to see their patients faster thus getting care started sooner. If you have to see a doctor in or to get an X-ray you have to book with them first which takes time to see them, then you have get the X-ray as well as then wait for X-rays then wait again to get a referral. This put more cost on our unnecessary cost to the medical system as well. as stress to the patient having to wait days more before getting care. Not acceptable

Xrays are a necessary analysis tool in a chiropractic practice. What is the rationale in restricting this valuable means to assess spinal integrity?

This is ridiculous. This is a danger to patients and severely limiting to trained, qualified physicians to give their best and safest care to the public.
