My NUCCA practitioner used his specialized x-ray positioning equipment to show details of my atlas and axis vertebrae which would not have otherwise have been visible. As he has gradually corrected these slight rotations I have experienced relief from the neck and shoulder pain that plagued me for thirty years and that no amount of massage therapy diminished greatly or for long. At the last clinic where an RMT treated me, she showed me in the mirror that one shoulder was always higher than the other, but she did not theorize the reason or propose a time-tested course of treatment. Why not? She had to limit her diagnosis to what she saw in my posture and what she felt when testing the range of motion where my pain was, not where X-rays could have revealed a misalignment that a NUCCA-trained chiropractor knows to look for.

Xrays are an important diagnostic tool for chiropractors. Patients can decide if they do not want this as part of their treatment but it is very short sighted to limit chiropractors from making accurate diagnosis for treatment

I support the BC chiropractors and their use of X-ray equipment. It is the only thing that has kept me pain free.

My chiropractor's x-rays have been shown to me and help me to understand my problems, and help my chiropractor in his assessment and treatment. I absolutely support chiropractors being able to continue using x-rays in making their diagnoses. More importantly, I want to know why the College is choosing to take such a backward step. This is to the detriment of the public, and I wonder what's really behind this sudden and poor decision.

I can not express enough how my upper cervical chiropractor has done tremendous work on me. It's such an effective way to maintain good health and I will be very upset if restriction of x-rays use is put into effect, which would be a great loss and tool for NUCCA practitioners.
PLEASE allow the use of x-ray as an effective tool for better NUCCA health.

Of course this is necessary!! It's better that the Doctor know what's going on first. That way they know how to treat you correctly.

It's a non sens that chiropractic in any country loose the rights to take, and analyse x-rays when you know the curriculum of the doctorate including those amount's of x-rays courses. It's also important to assure the security of some treatment and to precise a lot of diagnostic...

Please reverse your decision regarding the x-rays that can no longer be taken by chiropractors for assessment.

I feel more comfortable if an xray is taken by the chiropractor , if needed, to see what may be a problem in spine or neck.

NUCCA is the only thing that worked for me. If you take this away a lot of people in B.C. won't get the care they need.

This type of chiropractic adjustment greatly increased my quality of life after suffering with paralyzing week long bouts of vertigo for almost 8 years. Please do not force these chiropractors out of the province by restricting the necessary x-rays for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

I'm puzzled that the College is removing a tool that is known to show a problem area that no other tool can do in a few minutes and accurately, no guess work. I had an ATLAS misalignment , X ray image clearly showed me the problem. My signature disagrees with College dictate, other organizations still use X rays.

My quality of life is improved due to NUCCA. Conventional chiropractic never provided this level of success.

Limiting chiropractors’ use of this critical diagnostic tool is regressive, and limits my ability to heal my body.
