Without X-rays I would be bed ridden. My doctor needs to know how my neck moves and it does. This changes the angle of which he adjusts me.

X-rays are essential to chiropractic care as is an examination.

Chiropractors are very well trained in all aspects of taking and evaluating x-rays. This must remain part of our scope of practice!

I take xrays on almost every patient that comes into my office. Xrays are a vital tool in diagnosing and treating patients. Anyone that doesn't understand that has NO business making another doctors decssion weather or not they can take xrays. I believe that would create a huge liability for anyone trying to dictate how another Doctor sees fit to care for his or her patients.

I would not want Chiropractic care without xrays first.

x-ray analysis is integral to the spirit of specific adjusting, as well as screening for red flags towards care!

Not being able to take X-rays will make it impossible for Chiropractors to do their job. What will be eliminated next? Our Health Care is going down the toilet fast! Why? We deserve to be treated better.

This decision should be made between doctor and patient. Of course the chiropractor should be able to take or request x-rays as part treatment, diagnostics and care.

You would not take imaging abilities away from a cardiologist to perform their duties. This is precisely the same thing.

In the NUCCA Technique, X-rays are required for determining a specific listing and line of drive for this Patient's miss-alignment. In this technique there is no other way to determine the listing and be specific for this form of adjusting. you will be putting these NUCCA Doctors out of business, and that is not a very intelligent move on the part of the Board. Why try to narrow down our Profession? What or who is guiding or pushing you in this direction ? Why are you taking away our tools, what are you gaining, who is putting pressure on you? Why not stand up for our profession.

I was shocked to see this amendment was coming from within the BC College of Chiropractic Board. It would be a definite step back and set back for BC Chiropractors and their patients. I myself have benefitted from NUCCA and appreciated my chiropractor being able to address the issues thoroughly by use of x-rays. It gave me the added assurance I was being treated with utmost care and detail.

Makes sense

It's abhorrent to me that the use of xray should be limited in any way. There is a reason that doctors are trained to recognize pathology and this attempt to hobble a healtcare field is ham handed and lame.

For the first time in 25 years I can wake up every day without pain in my neck due to NUCCA treatments. Please, do not take away their rights to use X-rays.

It makes no sense to take away the access to x-rays for chiropractic work and NUCCA has helped me. Why is this happening?
