Citizens for Chiropractic and the Continued Use of X-rays

This is a very important piece of equipment and I doubt it is overused. Please reconsider.

X-ray is a diagnostic tool and modern advancement has limited radiation exposure significantly, so back the hell off

I would not feel comfortable starting a Chiropractic therapy before the chiropractor had all available information. Considering an x-ray provides a extraordinary amount of information for the chiropractor to conduct a successful therapy.

Xrays are necessary for properly and safely diagnosing and treatment chiropractic patients. Taking that away would be dangerous and unethical

Every tool in our Chiropractic Tool Bag NEEDS to be Protected & Defended. Just like Bodily Autonomy, the forces that be need to stand down and allow us to do our jobs and serve the people the very best we can.

I have been seeing a Chiropractor since I'm 12 and my NUCCA Chiropractor is the ONLY chiropractor that has completely eliminated my daily headaches and aligned my spine correctly and am pain free - without Xrays and precision measurements this would never have happened - nor would he have known exactly what was going on, how to adjust me and nor would I have been able to see for myself the issue that was causing my misalignment all these decades. Instead of just getting the general ' crunch' and 'adjustment' that I'd had over and over again ( even with newer chiros that used these 'clickers' and other tools.. Nothing worked long term like NUCCA along with Xrays. I deserve to be able to make a choice whether or not I want Xrays and feel VERY strongly about this - My dentist Xrays my jaw every year.. The Airport makes me walk through Xrays .. Why in the world would I not be able to make an informed choice if I wanted to have an Xray to be able to effectively and precisely treat my spine ?? It's an essential tool and would definitely reduce the quality and effectiveness of care going forward to remove it ! I am appalled at the suggestion frankly.

Xrays are an important diagnostic tool for chiropractors.

Chiropractors deserve the right to diagnoses as needed.

Taking away a tool for proper diagnosis would have left me in pain. Please keep the tools available for the practitioners

I am grateful for my chiropractor using X-ray do discover my spinal issue. The DRs wouldn’t listen and I had a major issue. Please use X-ray for chiropractic offices.

I’ve benefited greatly from chiropractic care and know that the Dr’s need to be able to utilize x-rays for not only treatment planning but to also understand and see possible injury that may require other treatments. Taking this tool away from chiropractors is wrong and foolish.

X-ray was able to spot a vertebrae out of place, explaining my chronic pain.

If anything, it really should be the other way around. Chiropractors should be REQUIRED to work with x-rays.

If you can't see what's going on, how can you "do no harm" and still give good care.

Please continue to keep x-rays available for chiropractors. It was because of my X-rays that’s my chiropractor was able to see the subtle scoliosis I had- and be able to correct it.
