I strongly support the arts in Hilton Head. A strong and vital arts community makes the quality of life better for residents and visitors alike. This should be a high priority for Hilton Head Town Council.

The Hilton Head Art League was conceived in 1971 inside the Red Piano Art Gallery and were hosted there as well as visiting artists and musicians. The Red Piano gatherings were truly the nexus of modern culture for a time. Suggest you inquire there

I lived on Hilton Head Island over 30 years ago and remember its breathtaking beauty, which will surely be an inspiration for artists of all kinds. The arts improve the quality of life for all age groups and having a center will attract people to visit Hilton Head as a cultural destination.

The Arts create and support children who are smarter in all subjects.They become adults who see more options for themselves and contribute to a higher quality of life for everyone.
