The proposed plant is not a good fit for Daviess County.

I am against the rezoning of this land from agricultural to industrial use. Even when all controls are in place the proposed plant would most likely emit creosote and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). They will also most likely be a large quantity generator of hazardous waste. In a worst case scenario, there is a possibility of groundwater contamination. I do not believe a plant with these attributes should be located in a populated rural community.

I am greatly opposed with the building of this facility due to environmental (air and water) concerns.
