Why in the world would we risk losing that much money over a name? Shouldn't the wish of the many be considered over the wish of a few?

I do not see a good reason to make the change and I don't think we can afford $250,000!

Please don't lose the $275,000 capital outlay over a couple of words.

I don't understand or see the need to rename it. It's part of Roswell's History!

Taxpayer cost is too high, and we should have a voice in this.

Another building somewhere else for a new name. Yucca was the high school at one time, part of Roswell's history

To lose money already allotted is a colossal waste. Do not re-name the Yucca.

Stop taking things from kids over something like a name. "The Yucca" is history to some of us.

Please leave our history alone. We have enough streets and buildings around the state named after all these people. What's wrong with leaving it as Yucca?

There is no reason to change the name.

This issue belongs on the ballot where the people of Roswell can be heard, since some of the city councillors are clearly only representing themselves.

There is no reason to name a building for somebody who has nothing to do with our city. Leave it as Yucca or rename for a local hero(es).
