I live near this proposed site and I’m opposed to this plan. We cannot continue to destroy our scenic Shenandoah Valley landscape. Frederick County’s Comprehensive Plan states that their Economic Development goals include supporting agriculture and tourism. This data center complex would have a negative effect on bordering tourism businesses, including The Inn at Vaucluse Spring, Trumpet Vine Farm, and the Family Drive-In Theater. The construction traffic, electricity usage, and water usage (up to 700,000 gallons a day according to a fact sheet from the developer!) are more of a burden than a benefit for our county.

This data center directly affects our friend’s land as all the farms surrounding them have been bought up and the buildings will be directly behind their home. They are also an eye sore, a health concern from the loud humming coming from the buildings, and a huge detriment to our beautiful farm land.

I object the data center.

What a shame that they would destroy this beautiful part of the Shenandoah Valley.

As a long time resident of Frederick County I’m disgusted that this is even remotely a debate or considered. Majority of local residents disagree with this proposal and question why our local government would want this to happen. This will destroy our area and natural resources. Which we’re already limited to due to all the growth. If you think the droughts are bad during summer, what until the data center dries it all up and thousands are without water.

Data centers should NOT have more rights and considerations than the residents who live here.

We don't need them out here There plenty of them in the city. We our a rural community yes we have grown..but this we don't need out here

We need farm land! We don’t want to be Loudoun or Fairfax

No data center in Frederick County! We don’t want higher electric bills, more traffic, and we need to protect the environment and ecosystem for the wildlife.

This is not good for Frederick County from a residential perspective. My family has lived here in the valley for over 24 years. I’ve seen the data center impact in the Ashburn area and I have read the complaints from other counties. It’s not something, country loving, folks in the valley desire to live by.

The solar panels are bad enough! Don't destroy what is left of Frederick County.

We want to keep our county green!

Stop destroying the farmland! We do not want nor need all that traffic and chaos in our district! Do not ruin our beautiful valley by bringing that mess out here!

This would devastate the already strained water resources in this area.

Keep the farm lands!
