Citizens Against Frederick Co Meadow Brook Data Centers

We have a beautiful County. Let's not ruin it. I am vehemently opposed to these data centers.

There are currently 578 Dat Centers in Va. The amount of energy that we have to get from other states, the noise, pollution and wasted land are enough to say STOP!

No, do not build any data centers in Frederick County

I oppose the proposed data center due to its high energy and water consumption, potential strain on local infrastructure, and limited community benefit. These projects often create few long-term jobs while significantly impacting the environment. We should prioritize sustainable development that aligns with our community’s values and resources. We are not ready for such development. Out local government should be working to better our roads and traffic, not adding more to make it worse.

We were not against it until learning that historic structures would be demolished - Family Drive In is one of the few remaining in the US & one of 4 in VA

This would set a dangerous precedent. I commute to Loudoun County. They’ve lost similar historic structures and rural areas and it all started with the first structure.

Not the right location for a data center.

Our resources are already spread too thin. Outdated roads, taxed water resources and electrical grids. All entry roadways in and out of Winchester are a nightmare without adding even more traffic and congestion. Resources lost are lost forever. Our taxes are increasing and those of us will be taxed even more to support this venture. I understand growth, but responsible growth is imperative to sustain our area as well.

Don’t ruin the farms and beautiful scenery of the Valley. Keep the data centers out of the Shenandoah Valley. …….Go Away !!!!!

This is our home and there’s plenty of other places for something like this that does not have to disrupt this already rapidly growing community. We need the space for housing not for data centers.

We don’t need to become a part of northern Virginia. We are part of the Shenandoah valley, one of the most beautiful places in the country. We will lose that to only become part of the ugly city.

No! We don’t need or want data centers in Frederick County. We need clean air and water, not more demands on water and energy.

I commute to Loudoun county each day. The amount of Datacenters built and being built is aweful. Ashburn was so nice before.

These centers should never be placed on Ag land. EVER
