It's a nice quiet area and it would bring in way too much traffic.

There is a Dollar General no more than 2 miles away, this is probably the last thing Mountain Road and Glen Allen need!

I live near Glen Allen and I can't imagine marring this quaint town with such a monstrosity!

The "historic" beauty of the neighborhoods will suffer. Increased traffic in an area where children play and senior citizens walk the nature trails would increase the possibility of more accidents.

We do not plan to shop at Dollar General EVER!!!!! I do not ever shop at any of the Dollar Generals. I have been in one, once. It was an AWFUL, understaffed, unorganized, disgusting store, full of cheap crap!!! I do not want this store lowering the property values of my neighborhood. If they are allowed to build here, I will be moving to Hanover County as soon as my children graduate from High School or sooner.

It would be a nasty blemish on a beautiful community.

We do not need a Dollar General on Mountain Road!
It would ruin the charm of the community, hurt local- non chain businesses, and bring in unwanted traffic.
There's plenty of empty lots on Staples Mill Road nearby to build a Dollar General!

NO! I moved to this area for the charm, quietness and hometown small community feel. We DO NOT need or want a business of this type on Mountain Rd. we have what we all need within 4 miles surrounding.

A DGS is not at all in keeping with the historic nature of the Mountain Road corridor of Henrico County in Glen Allen. There are certainly other, more appropriate locations if it is deemed necessary for a discount retailer to come nearby. But please, do NOT ruin the quaint, historic community that is "downtown" Glen Allen.

My family and I live on this road and we are strongly opposed to this plan. If it is going to be a store, make it a locally owned small business!

Please don't do this. We moved to this area for the old world charm, please don't ruin the area to chose to raise our family.

There is a Dollar General Store not 5 mins away from this location. This is old town Glen Allen and there is Glen Allen Grocery right across the street that everyone can support like we have all done for years. Please don't mess up the look and feel of this piece of small town Americana with a store we don't need. Wish the county could have saved more of the beautiful hotel that used to sit on this piece of land and then we wouldn't have to worry about this!
too close to family homes. No no no
