I am all for business development in our community. However, given the proximity of the Virginia Center Commons Dollar General Store and the historical character of that location in Glen Allen I am opposed to this plan of development unless the architectural facade of the new structure would maintain the character of the area.

Between the traffic this would cause, the aesthetic destruction of the small town "main street" America feel this area has, and the low wage jobs that are not needed; this is a bad deal all around. A project that will destroy the community feel and most likely be out of business within a couple years leaving nothing but a blighted brick box.

A Dollar General store does not go with the Glen Allen village on Mountain Road and would increase traffic to the point of chocking it with the trains.

This area maintains a historic atmosphere. A retail shop of that nature would change or neighborhood feel, and potentially increase traffic in an area full of children. No to Dollar Geneal.

I can't imagine the homeowners in Deer Springs Subdivision want a Dollar General in their front yards! Very poor planning! Shame on Henrico County for even considering this proposal.

Please do not ruin the character and historic feel of our Glen Allen by adding this unneeded store front. There is one a couple of miles away already. This one doesn't belong on Mountain Road!

I live in the Brookland district and I am strongly opposed to the proposal to build a Dollar General on the northwest corner of Mountain Road and John Cussons Drive.

Please block this proposal of Dollar General store to be built on Mountain Road. It doesn't fit the small town feel nor does it meet the needs of the community. Property valve will take a hit!

We as homeowners in Brookley East oppose a Dollar General in our community. Big box stores do not fit the historical corridor of Glen Allen.
