We really don't need this big box store blighting our neighborhood. Just brings unwanted traffic, trash and late night noise. Does not enhance our lives at all.

Please do not allow our little hidden gem area of Henrico County to be ruined. We are the original Glen Allen, full of history and old fashioned charm. This is an area that still has an old country store with a real butcher. Don't bring this type of establishment to our neighborhood. Dollar General is typically a trashy store in trashy areas. There is NO reason to have such a store in that location. There are plenty of places on Staples Mill Rd to house such a store. They'd have more foot traffic there anyway. Dollar General will lower our home values, will bring too much traffic to our neighborhood roads (roads where our children still ride bikes with friends), and will possibly lead to more crime in our area. NO DOLLAR GENERAL.

I am against a dollar general being in this location on Mountain Road.

It makes no sense to put this type of commercial operation at this location. This is off the beaten path for anyone interested and it will anger the local community that Dollar General thinks they will attract. The net result is that everyone will loose.

This area does not need a Dollar General when there is one less than two miles away already. This is a small community with locally-owned businesses. We do not want or need a discount store in this neighborhood.

Why in the world would Dollar General WANT a store on Mountain Road? This is a dumb business decision on their part. How do any marketing studies show that it is wanted, needed or would be supported? This is not a prime traffic area and that is way it should be kept.

A dollar general at this location will bring unnecessary traffic to our residential neighborhoods and will show the incompetence of county planners.

A Dollar General store, or any other chain store, does not fit in with the character of the "Old Glen Allen" community, much less the Deer Springs neighborhood. It will damage the attractiveness of the entrance to the neighborhood and add unwanted traffic on John Cussons Drive as well as Mountain Road.

We are residents of Deer Springs subdivision. Been here 20+ years in the neighborhood. We love Glen Allen and feel a Dollar General does not fit into the quaintness of our community. We also do not want the added traffic to our little street. Please do not allow the Dollar General to be built on Mountain Road near Deer Springs!

This is a gorgeous neighborhood and does not need to be built upon by more stores that are located just down the street anyway.

Henrico County has supported the Old Glen Allen area in the past; Courtney Road Station and Forest Lodge anyone? Let's not ruin this authentic area with a cheap chain store in what is mostly an affluent neighborhood. There's a Dollar General just up the street for those who want to shop there.

I do not support building of any type of new stores on this property.

Too many other places this can be built! Leave our little "town" alone!! If it's built here I will never shop there in protest! There is one in Laurel!
