Please, NO to the Dollar General store. Within a short distance of our community, there are enough stores where we can purchase the same items as in a Dollar General.

There is already a dollar general within 2 miles of the proposed site. Why put one in a generally historic location.

DO NOT put a retail store here! We, who live in these neighborhoods, DO NOT WANT any retail stores, ESPECIALLY a Dollar General. All they sell is junk and they attract the type of people who are out looking to buy junk. We don't want that in our neighborhoods!!!

This is a quiet community where things are pretty quiet. We don't need a retail store at the entrance of a well-established subdivision!

This will only serve to bring down property values! I know that the property owners have had the property for a long time but is the county ready to lower the property taxes for everyone in the area to compensate for the building of such a business?

The history of Old Glen Allen proper needs to be taken into serious consideration before ANYTHING should be built within its borders. I do not believe it was EVER envisioned by the areas founders to build a Dollar General on the 2nd OLDEST ROAD IN THE NATION.....right in the middle of a quaint historical village. REALLY?? Keep the Dollar General in the established shopping center on Woodman Road (right around the corner)....KEEP IT OUT of our quiet neighborhood.
